We completed an appraisal of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness in northern Minnesota, which totals 810,069.44 acres of land and water, including some 3,031 miles of frontage on 1,170 lakes throughout Cook, St. Louis, and Lake Counties.
American Transmission Company
From 2006 to the present, we have appraised over 150 parcels affected by six transmission line corridors throughout southwestern, central, and northern Wisconsin.
Besse Forest Products
We appraised nine parcels of forestland totaling approximately 2,500 acres in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and northeast Wisconsin.
Potlatch Corporation
We completed a paired sales analysis study of timberland tracts to determine the contribution of forest cover to overall property value. Potlatch Corporation also desired market information that would help determine timber harvesting practices that maximize net return after land sale.
Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Michigan Department of Natural Resources
We have appraised hundreds of acres of forestland and waterfront parcels for the DNR. Recent projects include an appraisal of 83 acres of forestland with frontage along the White River, in Bayfield County, Wisconsin; an appraisal of 460 acres located in Nerstrand Big Woods State Park in Rice County, Minnesota; and an appraisal of 187 acres located in Copper Country State Forest, in Keweenaw County, Michigan.
