Experience includes forest inventory and reconnaissance for a variety of purposes including forest planning and timber sales. Trained in Lake States forest silviculture and forest management applications. Worked as a seasonal biophysical inventory technician in northern Minnesota gathering soil and vegetation data using aerial photography, hip chains, and GPS equipment. Experience also obtained in the industrial forest management setting, having worked as a part time forester for a large Lake States forestland owner.

Current responsibilities include: Assisting project foresters and senior staff in a variety of forest management, mapping, and appraisal assignments. Completing forest stand level exams to update existing inventory data and conducting timber inventory work in Minnesota, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Additional work includes preliminary site work for timber sales and various timber sale administration tasks. Also responsible for property inspections, and gathering comparable sales data for real estate appraisal purposes.
