Forest Inventory, Timber
Cruising:
Skilled in compartment and stand level inventories. Evaluated numerous
industrial and private landowner properties in order to develop sound,
long term forest management plans. Cruised and evaluated timberland
during land acquisition. Established, collected, and analyzed data
from forest inventory plots to be used while completing future sustainable
forest management plans. Previous experience gained through employment
with American Forest Management and International Paper Company.
SLS project forester for stand level inventory on county forest land.
Forest Management, Timber Sale Administration:
Experienced in marking property lines, establishing buffer zones
around environmentally sensitive areas, road layout and mapping,
and marking timber for harvest. Past experience gained while working
with American Forest Management and Mead Paper Company. Currently
assisting SLS project foresters and working with other SLS staff
foresters in all aspects of timber harvest work.
Forest Mapping and Aerial Photography:
Field forester responsible for timber inventory and mapping, and
assisting on a variety of forestry and related projects.
Appraisal Assistant:
Serves as an appraisal assistant on forestland valuation. |
