Bachelor of Science - Forest Administration, May 1988.

Experience:
Appraisals:
Serves as a staff appraiser. Past and current projects include federal/industrial land exchanges, large industrial land disposals and acquisitions, conservation easement appraisals, and work for state agencies throughout the Midwest.
Aerial Photo Mapping and Interpretation:
Aerial photo interpretation using black and white, true color, and color-infrared photography on traditional 9 inch by 9 inch prints and digital format. Projects located in the Midwest total over one million acres. Also experienced in taking small format aerial photography.
Forest Inventory and Cruising:
Field supervising forester with cruising experience on projects totaling over 1,000,000 acres for state, federal, and industrial clients. Performs check cruising duties on various inventories.
Forest Management Planning and Timber Sale Preparation and Administration:
Trained to perform all private forestland management tasks including initial land inspections, creating management plans, and implementing plans. Also responsible for assisting in planning and directing forest management activities. Duties include developing silvicultural prescriptions, property line delineation, timber marking, and timber sale supervision.
Highway and Utility Right-of-Way Acquisition:
Trained to perform every phase of the acquisition process including market studies, landowner meetings and negotiations, and assisting in damage appraisals.
Expert Testimony:
Appeared as an expert witness, testifying on tree removals as derived from aerial photo interpretation in Lincoln County, Wisconsin. Worked on several other timber and forest management projects settled prior to court.
